Butterfly and Dragonfly Diecut Card

Hello Crafty Friends! I finally bought some of the many The Greetery dies and stamps that I’ve been drooling over. I’m in love with them and how my cards came out.

To make the cards, I started with the greenery. I diecut them out first, then I overlayed the stencil to ink them with Distress Oxides. I let them dry a bit then added in a little shading with Prisma Color pencils. Once the greenery was done, I started on the butterfly and dragonfly. I actually made several of each and picked my favorites for the cards. I went about creating them the same way I created the greenery. I picked out some color combos from my Distress Oxides and inked them then added shading with Prisma Color pencils and white gel pen highlights.

I cut the card panel a little larger than the usual A2 card. The panel is 6 x 4.75 inches. I think this gave all the diecuts a little breathing room.

I used a sentiment from Avery Elle and I the banner diecut is from Lawn Fawn.

Thanks for joining me and have a wonderful day!
